张学勇，男，1962年生，汉族，甘肃临洮县人。研究员、博士生导师。2002年被中国农科院聘为首批杰出人才。1984年毕业于甘肃农业大学农学系，1987
年毕业于原中国科学院西北植物研究所，获硕士学位，1992年毕业于中国农业科学院研究生院，获博士学位。1994.2-1996.10在美国农部牧草及草地研究中心

分子细胞遗传学实验室、加拿大农部植物研究中心分子遗传学实验室做博士后研究;
1997.4-1998.1在意大利Tuscia大学做博士后研究。
长期从事基因组进化、遗传多样性、优质基因克隆等方面的研究工作。主持完成了国家转基因植物研究与产业化专项：我国优异小麦品种“小偃6号”优质谷蛋白基因的克隆（1998.10-2002.10）主持完成了国家重大基础研究项目（973）“我国小麦核心种质的构建”专题(1998-2003.10)。在国内外核心刊物发表研究论文40余篇，获得国家专利1项，待审专利2项。现主持国家分子育种专项：小麦分子育种技术研究与优质、双抗新品种的选育、国际挑战计划项目“全球小麦的遗传多样性研究”及国家自然基金等项目的研究。已指导毕业博士生2名，硕士生8名。
