张欣，女，博士，副研究员。1984年毕业于东北农业大学，毕业后在黑龙江省农业科学院从事蔬菜育种及生物技术工作。2000年2月-2000年8月作为农业部高级访问学者，被派往美国Michigan State University 从事植物抗寒基因工程研究；2000年8月至2003年8月在美国密西根洲立大学的美国能源部植物研究实验室（MSU-DOE Plant Research Laboratory）下属的Dr. Thomashow 实验室作博士后，承担了美国国家自然科学基金项目（NSF 2010 project 2010基因组计划）“Low Temperature Regulatory Circuits and Gene Regulations in Higher Plants”部分研究工作。2003年10月被中国农业科学院作物科学研究所聘用。目前在长江计划特聘教授万建民博士实验室从事水稻非生物逆境机制和水稻功能基因组研究。
