夏先春,男,1963年10月出生,安徽六安人,博士,中国农业科学院作物科学研究所研究员,博士生导师。1987-90年在北京市农林科学院从事玉米育种工作;1991-95年在中国农业大学工作,主要从事小麦育种及小麦抗病性遗传研究;1996-99年在德国Hohenheim大学攻读博士学位,利用分子标记研究玉米对矮花叶病、丝黑穗病和大斑病的抗性遗传;1999-2002年在国际玉米小麦改良中心(CIMMYT)做博士后,从事玉米种质资源的遗传多样性研究;2002年11月至今,在中国农业科学院作物科学研究所工作。“十五”和“十一五”期间主持国家863小麦分子育种项目和国家自然科学基金项目6项。
研究方向与主要研究内容:
研究方向是小麦抗病性和品质性状遗传、分子标记开发及分子育种。主要研究内容包括小麦品质基因克隆与功能标记的开发、小麦条锈和白粉病抗性基因(包括慢病性QTL)定位、利用分子标记聚合品质和抗病基因以及小麦中间材料培育等。
